It's now 10:41 and I need to study for my exam next week. I must be easily distracted by shiny objects or have ADD. Here is a photo of my boys opening a package from Grandma Carol, who we miss and who spoils us because she's in AZ during the winters. The next week I take my comprehensive exam and the next week my parents visit. Where does the time go? Well, the waffle maker is cleaned, the plastic ziplock bags that have been sitting in a pile for weeks have been washed and hung (cha-ching), and the recyclables are all de-labeled and separated. I did all of the homework for my online Risk Assessment which is actually pretty fun because it is full of 18 SMART, smart people aged 20 to 65. So I have no more excuses but must do my chemistry problems. Do you know another way to save a bunch of money is to stop eating cereal but instead eat old fashioned oatmeal every morning? Gosh, it sure tastes good with berries, maple syrup, and organic whole milk on it. On that note, I think I'll turn in and study tomorrow. I can only do so much. I was Valedictorian in high school and Summa Cum Laude in undergraduate, but at almost 30 I realize that none of that really matters in life. I have a chemistry degree. I'm sure I'll do okay on a graduate Environmental Chemistry exam. Oooh, the baby just started crying. He needs me to not study :)
